Before You Arrive: How to Prepare
Getting ready for your first session is simple. Here are a few things we recommend:
- Hydrate well in the hours leading up to your session. Proper hydration supports your body's ability to sweat and absorb the ozone effectively.
- Eat a light meal about an hour beforehand. You don't want to arrive on a completely empty stomach, but a heavy meal right before isn't ideal either.
- Wear comfortable clothing you can easily change in and out of. You'll disrobe for the session (a towel is provided), so comfort is key.
- Avoid heavy lotions or creams on your skin. Clean skin allows for better ozone absorption through open pores.
- Arrive a few minutes early so there's no rush. We want you relaxed from the moment you walk in.
Arriving at Flourishment
When you arrive at our Springboro location, you'll be greeted by your operator who will walk you through the process. If it's your first visit, we'll take a few minutes to explain the HOCATT system, answer any questions, and help you select the ideal frequency program based on your wellness goals.

The 30-Minute Session: Step by Step
Once you're ready, here is exactly what happens inside the HOCATT pod:
Getting Settled (2-3 minutes)
You'll sit comfortably inside the chamber with your head outside, breathing naturally. A comfortable neck cape seals the chamber around your shoulders. Your operator will place a nasal cannula to deliver supplemental oxygen throughout the session. Everything is adjusted to your comfort.
The Carbonic Acid Phase (3-5 minutes)
The session begins with CO2 filling the chamber. This carbonic acid phase dilates your blood vessels and opens your pores, increasing circulation by up to 25%. You may notice a slight warming sensation and a gentle fizzing feeling on your skin. This is perfectly normal — it means your body is being prepared for optimal absorption.
The Full Session (20-25 minutes)
Now all 10 modalities kick in simultaneously. Steam fills the chamber, ozone is delivered through your open pores, far infrared rays provide deep warmth, PEMF pulses through the chamber walls, microcurrents run your selected frequency program, photon light bathes you in color, essential oils infuse the steam, and UV light adds its support.

Cool Down (2-3 minutes)
The chamber gradually returns to a comfortable temperature. Your operator will guide you through a smooth conclusion to the session. You'll step out feeling warm, relaxed, and rejuvenated.
